Like the red Spodee, the new white version is also 36 proof and takes a nod at the Depression era hooch also called Spodee. Much like its predecessor the Red Spodee, this is also fortified with Moonshine, honey amber in color with a tropical aroma. Coconut Breeze | 1 part Spodee White, 1 part Coconut Rum, 2 parts Grapefruit Juice, Splash of Cranberry Juice.
Combine Spodee, coconut liqueur and grapefruit juice in a cocktail shaker, shake for 30 seconds, pour over ice and top with a splash of cranberry juice. Garnish with grapefruit slice or cherry.
Spodee Mojito | 2pts Spodee White, 3 sugar cubes, 1 lime, 7 mint leaves.
Muddle sugar cubes, lime and mint in a cocktail shaker. Add Spodee White and ice cubes, shake for 30 seconds and straight into a rocks glass. Garnish with mint leaves and lime wedge.
Spodee White Sangria | 3 parts Spodee White, 1 part Pineapple Juice, 2 parts Club Soda, 1 cup Chopped Fruit, Handful of Mint Leaves.
Fill large pitcher with fruit, chilled Spodee White, pineapple juice and club soda. Stir gently and garnish with mint leaves.
