We recently visited The Winery in San Francsico, CA for a wine tasting that was given to us as a gift over the Christmas holidays. First off, it’s located on Treasure Island which is a man made island built in 1936 that sits in the under the San Francisco Bay Bridge. The winery lives in an old naval hangar that served during World War II, the space is amazing and apparently serves as an event space as well.

We’re beer and booze guys here at Liver Bashers but hey we don’t descriminate, the wine was delicious! The space is massive, there are barrels of wine lining the walls of the hangar and the light that pours into the space made for some nice photos that you can see in the gallery below. Wine tastings, well they are what they say they are so we’d suggest coming down for a couple glasses and enjoying the view of the skyline.
